Desmond Collins takes us on a journey of Malvertising discovery. The concept of Malvertising in simple terms is to trick the online user that the online advertisement is genuine. The ad itself is an infection of sorts, injected with malware software or some form of malicious code. The main intention of the ads is to breach an unsuspecting system. While the concept appears basic, there exists a complex layer of coding and behavioural instinct in some ads to make them hard to find and trace.
