Cyber Grooming Framework

The objective of this research was to create a single framework that would aid law enforcement agencies in prosecuting cyber groomers successfully.

After a thorough examination of existing models and current investigative procedures, it became apparent that there was no single framework to aid this process.

Cyber-grooming is increasing dramatically and efforts to combat this threat need to match the pace at which it is growing. In this research, it was found that the groomer evolves, and this makes bringing about justice a challenge. Therefore, law enforcement and, in particular forensic experts, need to keep abreast with developments on the Internet in particular cyber-grooming.
